Patrick King brings you his most exciting and insightful seminar ever, breaking down the myths and mystery about horsemanship.

This seminar is different – it’s not just about what Patrick and the other presenters can do, it’s about what they can teach you and others like you to do with your own horses.

Learn and understand why it’s not about how good your training techniques are or how great your program is… but how well you relate to horses, earn their trust and respect, and win their hearts.

Spending three days with horsemen and presenters of this caliber, up close and personal, in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania is what makes our Mastering Communication Conference THE HORSEMANSHIP EDUCATION EVENT OF THE YEAR!

Real answers to your questions.

Real solutions for your challenges.

A solid path toward your horsemanship goals

See for yourself, and go home with information that you can understand and apply with your horses… right away.

Mark your calendars, tell all your friends, and join us for an amazing two days of education, insight, and inspiration.

2011 Special Guests

Guy McLean
In 2005, Guy won the Australian Horsemanship Challenge, whereby he had 2 hours to start a young horse and perform a set routine. He is also a 2 time Australian Bush Poetry Champion and 2002 and 2006 Ambassador of the Outback. Guy grew up on the Susan River with his family running the Susan River Homestead Adventure Resort. For more information about the area and the resort, please click here.
.
Guy McLean is an accomplished, self taught, thinking horseman. Through a complete love of horses and a burning desire to “find better ways” of building relationships with horses, not having to use force, instead, ‘asking’ them to do the job as a partner, Guy has developed his own training methods, trying something new every day as a new personality poses new problems to work through. His collection of DVDs show his methods and help you achieve the same results with your horse. Click here to view the collection.
.
Master Horseman ‘Guy McLean’ provides a true Australian experience. His performances include 1 to 4 horses, young horse starting, bush poetry and whip cracking. Guy has performed across Australia over the past 10 years and at Equitana Asia Pacific, corporate events and numerous agricultural shows.

.Lisa Hall

From the time she was young, riding has been a constant in Lisa Hall’s life.  She learned to ride while growing up in Germany.  Her instructor, Corinna Klein (FN instructor),  instilled in her the necessity of a good seat.  The seat allows your horse the balance to perform under you.

While in Europe, she has also ridden at the Westphalian Riding School in Muenster with Martin Plewa, in Karlsruhe with Egon von Neindorff, and in Spain with Ignazio Lopez from the Spanish Riding Academy in Jerez.  She has been USDF Certified through Second Level since April 2006 and have earned her USDF Bronze Medal last year on one of her training horses.   She trains horses at Uphill Dressage and co-manages the facility, with owner Tamara Heckman, in New Alexandria, PA.

While there are many different riding and teaching styles, she adheres to the German Classical approach and is a member of the Xenophone Organization- and organization that is “fighting hard again the serious mistakes in the equestrian sport.”  Lisa strongly believes in the well-being of the horses, and that both the rider, as well as the horse, should benefit and have fun in this sport!  Dressage is a life-long learning endeavour.  Lisa is currently training with Grand Prix rider and USDF Certified Instructor, Mary Flood of Wildfire Farms in VA.   Her future goals include entering the judge’s “L” program, earning the USDF Silver Medal and becoming USDF Certified through Fourth Level.

Bob Sagely

Bob Sagely has spent over thirty-five years making a living by working with and for horses.  He has worked on ranches as a cowboy, dude wrangler, horse trainer, and shoeing horses for over thirty years.  For the last ten years he has devoted himself to becoming a master maker of fine, custom saddles, horse tack and western gear.
